Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules for using the services provided by VA SHIFT LLC dba ReleaseOS ("ReleaseOS"). By using our platform, you agree to comply with this policy. Any violation may result in the immediate suspension or termination of your account.

1. Compliance with Platform Terms

ReleaseOS provides analytics by integrating with third-party platforms. You must not use ReleaseOS in any way that violates the Terms of Service or Developer Policies of:

  • Spotify, Apple Music, and SoundCloud
  • Google (YouTube)
  • TikTok and Meta (Instagram)
  • X (formerly Twitter)

You are responsible for ensuring your use of music and social data remains within the "Permitted Uses" defined by these platforms.

2. Prohibited Content and Activity

You agree not to use ReleaseOS to:

Harass or Defame: Generate or distribute content that is hateful, threatening, or defamatory.
Infringe Property: Process data that violates the intellectual property rights, trademarks, or copyrights of others.
Deceptive Practices: Facilitate "streaming fraud," "botting," or the artificial inflation of engagement metrics (likes, views, plays) on any third-party platform.
Sensitive Insights: Use analytics to derive or infer an individual's race, religion, sexual orientation, health status, or political affiliation.

3. Protection of Infrastructure (Base44)

To ensure the stability of our platform hosted on Base44, you shall not:

Scrape or Harvest: Use any automated system (including "robots," "spiders," or "offline readers") to access the Services or harvest Platform Data.
Stress Test: Perform load testing, denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, or any activity that places an unreasonable load on our servers.
Circumvent Security: Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our system or breach any security or authentication measures.

4. Surveillance and Law Enforcement

In alignment with our Platform API agreements (specifically Meta and X):

  • You are strictly prohibited from using ReleaseOS for government surveillance purposes.
  • You may not provide any data obtained via ReleaseOS to law enforcement or any government entity for the purpose of identifying, profiling, or tracking individuals.

5. Artificial Intelligence & Data Integrity

No AI Training: You may not use any data, reports, or analytics exported from ReleaseOS to train, fine-tune, or develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) models, Large Language Models (LLMs), or Machine Learning (ML) systems.
No Resale: You may not sell, rent, or sublicense data obtained via ReleaseOS to third-party data brokers or marketing firms.

6. Monitoring and Enforcement

ReleaseOS reserves the right to:

  • Monitor your use of the Services to ensure compliance with this AUP.
  • Remove or disable access to any data or account that violates these rules.
  • Report illegal activity to the relevant law enforcement authorities or third-party platform providers (e.g., notifying Spotify of suspected streaming fraud).

7. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it immediately to: support@releaseos.io.
